You don't need an Old or New Testament, a Koran, or the fear of a sky god to be a good person. We are not anti religious, but we do feel that if one claims to "believe" in the Bible, but only cherry picks the good parts leaving out the horrid stories (religiously condoned rapes, slavery, slaughtering the innocents) - then use your OWN reasoning and toss the twisted mythology out.
This might be a grandiose endeavour, but this website can easily be a portal to these reference points enabling you to make moral and ethical decisions, or just to expand your knowledge on nature - and what it is to be human.
